Research Experience: Physics and applied mathematics; Biological physics; Bio-demography; Health sciences and aging; Genetics and genomics
He has published more than 120 papers in peer-review journals. Also, he has made about 140 presentations in international conferences.
Presentation Title: Genome-wide meta-analysis leveraging genetic heterogeneity identified abundant associations with multiple age-related phenotypes
 
Prof. Choi Seong Soo

Seong Soo Choi, Director of Research Center for Nano bioscience, honorary Professor of Physics and Nanoscience, SunMoon University and Sungkyunkwan University. Expertise: Nanofabrication of Plasmonic Nanopore for single molecule analysis, Characterization and Fabrication of Nanostructure.He has published more than 170 papers in journals. 
Presentation Title: Towards the Plasmonic Nanopore on Au-C binary mixture membrane for Next Generation Nanobio Sensor
 
Prof. Dr. Dianshuai Gao
Department of neurobiology and cell biology, Graduate School of Xuzhou Medical University, China
Currently, his researches focus on GDNF receptors and GDNF function in glioma and PD. His researches involve many subjects comprising of migration and proliferation of glioma cells, epigenetic mechanism, dopaminergic neurons. He also has 4 patents on his researches. Edited books like “Etiology and pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease” and “Striatum: Anatomy, Functions and Role in Disease”. Editor of Chinese Journal of Neuroanatomy, reviewer of Neuroscience Letter, Evaluation expert of the national natural science research fund project and China postdoctoral fund project. He has a B.S. in clinical Medicine, M.S. in Neuro-anatomy, and Ph.D. in Neurobiology.

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Rühe
IMTEK – Department of Microsystems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Freiburg, Germany
He was the Managing Director of the Department of Microsystems Engineering and the founding director of the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). From 2006 to 2014 he served as Vice Rector for Internationalization and Technology Transfer of the University of Freiburg.
Research interests: Polymers at interfaces, metamaterials, surface modification, biomedical surfaces, micro- and nanostructuring of surfaces, anti-(bio)fouling strategies, biosensors, surface analysis.
Presentation Title: Engineered Biointerfaces through Tailormade Surface-attached Polymer Networks – From to new diagnostic tools to implantable materials
 
Prof. Jiri Jan
Brno University of Technology , Czech Republic
Prof. Jan is a senior member of IEEE and a member of EURASIP. He was or is serving as Associate Editor for several international journals and served as a programme committee member or session organiser of many international conferences, a.o. IEEE – EMBC, IEEE – ICASSP and ISBI, Eurasip - EUSIPCO, IFMBE, WOC and others. 
Research Interests: His present research interests are in the area of medical image data processing and analysis, concerning namely multimodal image fusion, diagnostic feature analysis and image reconstruction from non-standard tomographic data. 
Presentation Title: Spine lesion analysis in 3D CT data – reporting on research progress 

Dr. ATTILA BÓTA
Research Centre for Natural Science, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary
Research Interests: Synthesis and structural morphological characterisation of nanomaterials; Physico-chemical study of self-assemblies of lyotrop systems; Preparation and structural studies of vesicles systems designed for drug delivery or biological imaging; application and development of the small angle X-ray scattering method focusing on the low structural resolution of diluted forms of proteins.

Dr. Rina Rosin-Arbesfeld
Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, Sackler School of medicine, Tel Aviv University 
Rosin-Arbesfeld's research group have been involved in developing a novel treatment strategy based on mutation stop-codon read-through in key genes. This read-through platform is currently used to develop specific drugs against spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) by BioBlast Pharma and is in clinical trials as a treatment for patients suffering from Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP).
In other aspects of her work, Dr. Rosin-Arbesfeld is focusing of different aspects of the Wnt pathway and is currently establishing methods for prolonging the life span of Red Blood Cells (RBCs).
Presentation Title: A flow cytometry-based reporter assay identifies macrolide antibiotics as nonsense mutation read-through agents.
 
Prof. Dr. Silvia Mittler
Dept. of Physics & Astronomy, University of Western Ontario, Canada
Since September 2003 I have been a member of the faculty in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Western. I am running the Laboartory for Photonics of Surfaces and Interfeces. I was holding a Tier I Canada Reaserch Chair for 7 years (2004-2011). In September 2010 I have received an Award of Appreciation from Sciencetech Inc., London, Ontario. 
My research was selected various times for an issue of the Virtual Journal of Biological Physics Research (published by the American Physical Society and the American Institute of Physics) which publishes articles from participating publishers, covering a focused area of frontier research.

Prof. Luca Mesin
Mathematical Biology & Physiology, Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino, Italy
Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He is the head of the research group on Mathematical Biology & Physiology. His research activities are devoted to the processing of signals or images extracted from biological and physiological systems and to the development of mathematical models for the interpretation of the recorded data. Applications are mainly focused on the investigation of biological systems or on the development of new biomedical tools. Recent works concern the simulation of spiral waves using a model of electromechanical coupling in the heart, the investigation of the central venous pressure, the processing of multiple data reflecting the responses of the Autonomous Nervous System and the simulation and processing of bioelectric signals. 
 
Dr. Oliver Faude
Department of Sport, Exercise and Health, University of Basel, Switzerland
His research focuses on Sports Medicine, including Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Sports Science, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sports Injuries, Exercise Performance, Nutrition and Exercise Performance. Has published morethan 130 papers. The H-index is 22 with total cites 2281. Also he is reviewer of many related international journals.

Dr. Derek James Dosdall
Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Depatment of Surgery, University of Utah, USA.
Research Interests:  focus on mapping of cardiac arrhythmias. He has developed chronic animal models of atrial fibrillation to investigate the substrate and conduction changes that occur in the cardiac tissue over time.

Dr. Ahmed Shihab Albahri

Introduction: He has received his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia. He has published 64 research articles in high impact international journals, accumulative citations = 2278, H-index = 33.
Research Interests: AI, MCDM, Data Science, Machine Learning with Medical Informatics, Medical Research methods, Bioinformatics and Health Sciences.
Presentation Title: Growth of Data Science Roles and Decision-Theory for Shaping the Future of Biotechnology and Bioengineering Applications
 
Dr. Naveen Vankadari
Research Fellow at Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute and Department of Biochemistry of Monash University.
Introduction: He received his PhD in the fields of biochemistry, structural and molecular cell biology from Academia Sinica and the National Defence Medical Center. He also has robust BioTech industry experience from MerckMillpore as an R&D researcher, and has received several awards and prizes in academia and industrial research.
Research Interests: principally focused on events central to human infection and immunity, structural & functional studies on viral and bacterial proteins involved in infection and challenging human immunity.
Presentation Title: Molecular interplay between SARS-CoV-2 and Human proteins for viral activation and entry, potential drugs and scope for new therapeutics
